The Kudoke 2 – GPHG marks a milestone in German independent watchmaking. Stefan Kudoke became the first independent watchmaker from Germany to receive recognition at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG).

As a result, this Kudoke 2 GPHG award watch stands as both a technical and artistic achievement. At first glance, the rotating domed sky disc at 12 o’clock draws the eye. It is hand-engraved and electroplated in black and white rhodium as well as yellow gold, and it displays the 24-hour indication with quiet clarity.

Moreover, this German independent watch GPHG winner features a dial-side modification of the inhouse Kaliber 1-24H. Therefore, the unusual 24-hour sky disc watch layout feels balanced and original. The bright frosted dial carries two rhodinized chapter rings that combine Roman and Arabic numerals.

In addition, the signature infinity-shaped hour hand in tempered blue steel reinforces the brand’s identity. Because there is no seconds hand, the watch slows the rhythm of time and invites a calmer experience.

Inside, the Kaliber 1-24H manual watch movement runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 46-hour power reserve. The movement measures 30 mm in diameter and shows a frosted hand finish on the wheel bridge. Furthermore, the balance cock is engraved by hand with the infinity symbol, which reflects Stefan Kudoke’s philosophy.
