Sacheen’s fascination with horology began early, inspired by the fine detail and artistry that go into creating exceptional watches. He often says, “It was love at first sight.” Captivated by the craftsmanship and design of luxury watches, his passion gradually turned into a lifelong commitment to the world of independent brands.
From Experience to Expertise
Following in his father’s footsteps, Sacheen began his career working with well-known commercial luxury watch brands. Over time, his deep appreciation for pure mechanical excellence and independent creators led him in a new direction. With more than 20 years of experience, including roles as Marketing Manager for major luxury brands in Singapore and India, and as the founder of Crest Horology in Singapore, he developed a sharp understanding of market trends and collector preferences.
A Pioneer in Independent Brands
Sacheen made history as one of the first to bring independent watch brands to India. He launched ICONS OF TIME, a landmark luxury watch exhibition that set new standards and caught the attention of collectors across the country. Through this platform, Sacheen introduced India to distinguished brands such as Hautlence, De Bethune, Manufacture Royale, and H. Moser & Cie. His introduction of Urwerk to India marked another milestone, underscoring his commitment to bringing avant-garde timepieces to the forefront. His efforts helped these brands build a strong presence in the Indian luxury watch market.
