The Claude Meylan Rainbow Turtle 6047-NB reveals its mechanical heart through a fully open skeleton design. At the same time, the black PVD-coated steel case gives the watch a strong and stable form. As a result, the contrast between the solid case and the open movement feels clear and controlled.
At its core, the Calibre 165 CM 14 powers the watch, and it is hand-wound and based on the UT 6497. In addition, the movement runs at 18,800 vibrations per hour, and it offers a power reserve of around 46 hours. Because the bridges are skeletonized, light passes through the gears, and therefore the movement gains depth and flow.
Meanwhile, sapphire crystal protects the dial, and it keeps the view sharp and open. At the same time, the transparent case back allows the movement to be seen in action. Ultimately, the watch reflects independent Swiss watchmaking, and it is curated with care by VAQT Horology.
