The Kudoke 3 – Salmon presents an unconventional way of telling time. At first glance, it appears to be a two-hand watch. However, it actually works with four hands across two dial levels. The large blued steel minute hand sweeps across the upper chapter ring, while the hour display unfolds below on a three-part plate. Moreover, the three-arm hour hand moves between two dials to indicate time in three sections. Because each arm has a different length, it interacts precisely with the segmented hour scale.
